The campsite is located right next to the Greenway linking Descartes to Tournon Saint Pierre, a 42 km cycle path on a converted former railway line. After Tournon Saint Pierre, this can be connected to the Greenway of the Valleys via a cycle route, which follows the Creuse river for 70 km on a former railway line.

Did you love your stopover in southern Touraine but didn’t have time to see everything? Don’t worry! We suggest you continue your journey in the heart of Deux-Sèvres (45 km from Chinon) and set up camp at Le Clos Imbert campsite, on the outskirts of the historic town of Thouars (80 km from the campsite). This small campsite, located between cliffs and a river, welcomes you to a wooded setting that is perfect for camping, whether on a camping pitch or in family or duo accommodation. Accessible via the ‘Vélo Francette’ cycle path, the campsite is fully equipped to welcome our cyclists! So, are you ready to hit the road again? Let’s go!
